Four Warrior Impact Members Tee Off for Good at the 2025 COCC Charity Championship
On September 8, 2025, four members of Warrior Impact joined dozens of other community teams at the Hayden Homes Central Oregon Charity Championship (COCC), hosted by Green Barn Events at the stunning Pronghorn Club at Juniper Preserve. This was the second annual tournament, bringing together 32 local nonprofits and awarding a total of $80,000 in charitable funds.
The day was filled with excitement and purpose. Registration opened early with Subaru of Bend’s $5,000 Putt for Charity contest, followed by the Pacific Office Automation Charity Ball Drop that kept spirits high before the official shotgun start. From the first drive to the final putt, golfers competed not only for bragging rights but also to help make a real difference in Central Oregon.
For Warrior Impact, it was about more than just golf. Our four representatives carried our mission onto the course — to stand in support of veterans and first responders who are navigating the challenges of post-traumatic stress. By playing in this tournament, our team helped bring visibility to Warrior Impact’s work and reinforced the power of community partnerships in fueling healing, hope, and connection.
At the end of the day, Warrior Impact proudly took home $4,000 in charitable winnings. These funds will go directly toward supporting our programs that provide intensive care, community, and healing opportunities for veterans and first responders.
After a full afternoon of play, participants gathered for the awards ceremony and a reception with cocktails and heavy appetizers. It was a time to celebrate not just the competition, but the collective impact made possible when local businesses, nonprofits, and individuals come together.
